Watch the Sunset at White Beach

One of the simplest yet most unforgettable experiences in Boracay is watching the sunset along White Beach, which stretches from Station 1 to Station 3. You can also find quieter pockets near Station 0, but most travelers naturally gather in Station 1, where the wide shoreline and low tide create a surreal mirror effect on the sand. As the sky shifts from fiery orange to soft pastel hues, the reflection on the shallow shoreline makes it feel almost cinematic.

Go Paraw Sailing at Golden Hour

For a more iconic sunset experience, try paraw sailing, a traditional Filipino sailboat ride with catamaran-style nets. Departing between 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM, this is one of the best ways to experience Boracay’s sunset from the water. Rates usually range from Php 600.00 to Php 800.00 per person, depending on the operator and season. As the wind carries the sail across the horizon, you get uninterrupted views of White Beach fading into golden light.

Try Parasailing Over the Island

If you want a more thrilling perspective, parasailing lets you see Boracay from above as you’re lifted high over the sea. On good wind conditions, especially during Amihan season, this activity is widely available either at Bulabog Beach during Habagat season or Station 3 during the dry months. Prices typically range from Php 1,500.00 to Php 1,800.00 per person, and walk-in bookings are usually accepted.

Crystal Kayaking

One of Boracay’s most Instagram-famous activities, crystal kayaking lets you paddle over clear blue waters while sitting on a transparent kayak. Guides often assist with posing so you can capture aerial-style shots in just 20–30 minutes. This activity is commonly available along White Beach and Puka Beach, with rates ranging from Php 200.00 to Php 250.00 per session.

Go Scuba Diving

Beyond the shoreline, Boracay hides an entirely different world underwater. Diving here reveals coral walls, reefs, wrecks and diverse marine life that many beachgoers never see. In the past two years, I’ve gone diving multiple times with Dive Gurus Boracay and I must say I’ve had a great time exploring Boracay’s underwater scene with their dive professionals guiding the experience. It’s one of the best ways to fully appreciate the island’s ecosystem.

Experience Water Sports

Boracay is also a playground for water sports lovers. Popular activities include:

  • Jet ski – around Php 2,500.00 for 15 minutes
  • Banana boat – Php 450.00 per head (minimum 6 pax)
  • UFO ride – Php 700.00 per head (minimum 4 pax)
  • Hurricane ride – Php 700.00 per head (minimum 4 pax)
  • Popparizi ride – Php 700.00 per head (minimum 5 pax)
  • Wakeboarding – Php 4,000.00 to Php 7,500.00 for 30 minutes to 1 hour

These activities are typically available along Station 1–3 beachfront areas, with vendors lining the shore.

Snorkeling Around Boracay

Snorkeling is one of the easiest ways to explore Boracay’s marine life without needing certification. Many island hopping tours include snorkeling stops where you can see corals, fish schools, and shallow reef systems just offshore. Equipment is usually included in tour packages or can be rented separately along the beach.

Beach Hopping Around the Island

Boracay may be famous for White Beach, but it has several other beautiful stretches of sand. White Beach (Stations 1–3)remains the main highlight, while Newcoast offers a more secluded and modern coastal experience. Puka Beach has a small entrance/environmental fee of around Php 50.00 per person, while exclusive areas like Station 0 are generally accessible only to resort guests.

Go on a Food Crawl

Food in Boracay is part of the experience itself. From beachfront seafood grills to international cafés tucked into side streets, the island offers a surprisingly wide range of cuisine. The best part is dining with a view since many restaurants line the shore. You surely will enjoy sunset while embarking on a gastronomic adventure from trying Filipino dishes to global comfort food.

Island Hopping Adventure

Island hopping is one of the best ways to explore beyond Boracay’s main shoreline. Standard shared tours cost around Php 900.00 per person, while private boats range from Php 3,000.00 to Php 12,000.00, depending on size and route. These tours often include snorkeling stops, cliff views, and visits to nearby coves and marine areas.

Sunset Party Boats & Yachts

As the sun begins to set, Boracay’s coastline transforms into a lively scene of boats and yachts heading offshore. Sunset cruises are a popular choice for groups, with rates starting at around Php 1,500.00 per person. It’s a more social way to enjoy the sunset, often paired with music, drinks, and panoramic views of White Beach from the water.

ATV Adventure Tours

For something different from the beach, ATV rides offer an off-road experience across Boracay’s inland trails. It’s a short but fun activity that lets you see a different side of the island beyond the coastline. Rates usually start at Php 1,500.00 per person. If you wish to enjoy the ride with your family, you may also opt for the buggy ride.

 Take a Helicopter Ride

One of the newest ways to enjoy the island on a whole new perspective and among the newest things to do in Boracay is going on a helicopter tour. It is one of the most premium ways to see Boracay, offering a breathtaking aerial view of White Beach, Puka Beach, and the island’s turquoise coastline.

As of 2026, rates typically start at around Php 6,000.00 to Php 6,500.00 per person for a 10-minute flight, while longer routes range from Php 9,000.00 to Php 11,500.00 per person depending on duration and group size.

Flights usually depart near the mainland heliport in Malay, and schedules are weather-dependent, especially during windy afternoons. While expensive, it remains one of the most unique ways to experience Boracay from above.

Try Kite Surfing at Bulabog Beach

Boracay is one of the top kite surfing destinations in Asia, and Bulabog Beach on the island’s eastern side is its main hub. During the Amihan season (roughly November to May), steady winds create ideal conditions for both beginners and advanced riders.

Kite surfing lessons are widely available, with most schools offering:

  • Beginner lessons (1–2 hours intro)
  • Multi-day courses with equipment included
  • Private coaching for advanced riders

Lesson rates typically start at around Php 3,500.00 – Php 6,000.00 per session, depending on duration and package inclusions (gear, instructor, and safety briefing).

Even if you’re not riding, Bulabog is worth visiting just to watch the sky filled with colorful kites at sunset.

Ride a Zipline

Zipline experiences in Boracay usually take place atop Mt. Luho, the highest point of the island. It’s a quick adrenaline rush paired with scenic views of the island’s greenery and coastline. The ride costs Php 1,500.00 per way per person.

Go on a Pub Crawl

Boracay’s nightlife is concentrated in Station 2 (White Beach area), where bars, beach clubs, and live music spots stay active almost every night. The vibe shifts depending on the day—but expect energy starting around 9:00 PM until late (1:00–3:00 AM). Among the popular nightlife spots in the island are Epic Boracay, Om Bar, Exit Bar, Summer Place and Paraw Beach Club. Most of these bars that fringe stations 1 and 2 don’t follow strict schedules—events rotate weekly depending on crowds and season. However, weekends (Friday–Sunday) are consistently the busiest nights, while weekdays are more relaxed and intimate.

Best Things To Do in Boracay, in a Nutshell

Boracay has a way of meeting you exactly where you are. If you come for stillness, movement, or a little bit of both, you’ll find your place in it. It’s in the slow sunsets that stretch across White Beach, the quiet corners that ask you to pause, and the bursts of energy that spill into the night without warning.

And maybe that’s the real beauty of it. You don’t really “finish” Boracay. You just experience it in fragments, each one staying with you a little longer than expected.
