Reasons Why You Should Enroll to a Fitness Program

I dropped by Decathlon Dasmarinas as I saw that they were on a Season Clearance Sale and I noticed that there’s something new about the set up at their Community Area. It was turned into a gym. I knew they were up to something interesting so I approached the guy at the area and had a little chat.

It turned out that the man I was talking to was not a staff but a fitness coach from Athlon Fitness. I had an interesting talk with him about working out and learned a lot. What transpired in our little chitchat were the reasons of why should one enroll to a fitness program.

Why Should You Enroll to a Fitness Program?

Well, while a lot of people hit the gym lately for a good beach body to flaunt, enrolling to a fitness program apparently leads to greater benefits than this. This in fact was just a bonus of ones’ gains from working out.

Work Out with Goals

What’s in your mind when you decided to work out? Did you do it because you want to lose weight? Did you do it to get your arms, legs or core muscles toned? Did you do it to be strong? It’s important to think about exactly what you want to improve and do with your body because it would help you in deciding as to what work out fits you. This is what enrolling to a Fitness Program would help you with first things first.

Get in shape, lose and maintain weight

Who wouldn’t want to have toned muscles and  to be in good shape? Of course, with good coaching, you’d know what and how much work would you need for the muscles you want to get toned or to reach or maintain a particular target weight.

According to Coach Mike, enrolling to a fitness program could help you lose or maintain your weight. It is actually good. What would be a little problematic circumstance is rapidly shedding pounds in a short period of time. With proper training and coaching, this should not happen as the muscles would gradually be toned; therefore, no loose skin! Might take a while but it was mentioned that it’s way better to experience a gradual improvement.

Feel good about your body and be confident

First is losing weight, second getting into shape with toned muscles – these lead us now to the other, the feel-good and confident stage. Not that we’re body shaming or anything but admit it, we become more confident if we look fit. Just always remember that you’re doing it for yourself and not for others.

The Health Benefits

Basically, working out regulates a lot of things in our bodies. The improvements in our physical appearance of course is quit desirable but what it holistically does to us is way better. Among the health benefits of working out are as follows:
1. less chances of acquiring chronic diseases
2. glowing skin
3. allows us to get some goodnight sleep
4. increased energy levels
5. strong bones and muscles
Lastly, it allows the release of endorphins – the happy hormones. These endorphins are actually chemicals that react to and reduce the brain receptors which perceive pain; hence, paints a more positive mood and outlook! It keeps us away from stress and anxiety; thus, a sound mind and body.

And the list goes on. These are just among the many benefits of enrolling to a fitness program that have transpired in my conversation with Coach Mike. These were indeed more enough to convince me to sign up for the Elevate Your Fitness Program by Decathlon.
