Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2020 will Happen in Cavite!

 I have always wanted to see the annual dreamy flight of hot air balloons in Clark, Pampanga. For some reason, I could not always make it.This year, the heavens gave me enough reasons not to miss it! Sky at the south will soon be filled with fun and colors as the most awaited Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta will finally happen in Cavite!

Set on a weekend in March, everyone is yet to witness endless paragliding, skydiving, helicopter demonstrations, RC control line exhibitions, kite flying and of course, early morning balloon flights!

The Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta is considered as the longest-running sports aviation event in Asia since it has been regularly held for over two decades now. More than just delivering a spectacular occasion for everyone, this event also aims to spark interest in aviation, instill discipline in young pilots; and to impart a spirit of volunteerism to the whole community. 

The Flying Carnival 2020: A Weekend of Almost Everything that Flies

This 2020, the organizers behind the Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta in partnership with Okada Manila will be holding a three-day event. It will b held at San Lazaro Leisure Park in Carmona, Cavite on March 6 to 8, 2020. In this “Weekend of Almost Everything that Flies”, everyone can enjoy walking around the carnival with the sight of flying hot air balloons (even ride one!) and helicopter and air sports events; shop for souvenirs and other good finds at the Fly Market; go on a gastronomic trip at the food booths. Aspiring flyers can also get to attend seminars on aviation career!

This is indeed a weekend for everyone – for friends and families; for young and old alike. Among the things that I wouldn’t want to miss are the magical hot air balloon night glow. There will also be fireworks display that would cap off a weekend full of wonders in the sky!
