Tagaytay City has always been on the top of the list of the people from the Metro who would like to unwind and to hold and celebrate their special days. Since events places situated at the town usually get fully booked, people would resort to looking for one just nearby it. If you are among those who are looking for a reasonably priced events place to hold your small or big gatherings and  events and make it even more solemn and special, L & J Country Estate should never be out of your list.

Last September 1, 2019, the Jeepsetters PH family drove their way down to the south to celebrate with the opening of the newest events place near Tagaytay City, the L & J Country Estate.

The event formally started at around 11:00 AM. Partners and sponsors were stationed and functioning around giving more life to the classy and golden indoor wedding interior of Leopoldo’s Pavilion. Among their official partners are Stat Events and Trends, Stohnenky for the sound system, Events Santiago Brewery for the locally crafted beer, Celsius Bites and Amira’s for the desert, Meraki Grazing table, Winkshots for the event’s official photography, Stic Events Musicians and R’ Photo booth Experience. They also gave discount to the guests who will be booking with them on their very own special days.

Good food and drinks were as overflowing as the people who came to celebrate and witness the blessing of the whole place. Good music played at the background brought by the Stic Events Musicians. The Diesta’s relatives and closest friends made the event even warmer as they shared wide smiles and laughter during the open house.

L & J stands for Leopoldo and Julita, the madre and padre de familia of the Diesta Family. The Diesta sisters, Ma’am Lani and Ma’am Loida, have always dedicated the beginning and the success of their business endeavors to honor their parents. It has been this way since 1998 until now; thus, naming their establishments after their parents.

This year, they opened the Country Estate not just to host special events but with a mission to share knowledge to everyone as well about what Organic Farming is and its benefits. The owners themselves have attended training and workshop and even adapted a farm-to-table kind of dining in their very own catering services. They grow the food that they serve to the guests, prepare and cook it to perfection with no preservatives nor additives. 

Small details are the least that we’d notice when we get into a place with so much things to see. I beg to differ. It was the first thing which caught my attention when I came into the Country Estate.

The place is a Victorian style-inspired one. It can be seen from the walkway, the lamps, the fountain, the pavilion, its walls, floors and pillars. The whole of it actually looks like a Victorian garden. The good thing? It is a garden where everything is grown organically. Plants and herbs were also strategically placed and organized and not just put in there mainly for aesthetic purposes. Thus, the whole place perfectly blends aesthetics and nature.

The Victorian style was splashed with tropical colors and shades. Various enormous tropical leaves can be found around blending with the architecture. There are also murals which were neatly painted and kept the supposedly dull and empty spaces beautifully occupied and alive. You can really see that the very details are paid attention to when you closely look at it.

Inside Leopoldo’s Pavilion

• This package includes 6 hours of use and stay at Leopoldo’s Pavilion that can hold up to a hundred persons.

• This includes 6 hours of use and stay at Leopoldo’s Pavilion and Julita’s Orchard. Civil or Christian ceremony can be held in the place.

These rates include the basic set up and styling of the venue with lights and sounds and a complimentary stay for two on their standard rooms with breakfast for two persons. Catering services are also provided. Six course buffet, complete table setting, use of the elegant Tiffany chairs, bottle of sparkling wine, decorated cake tale, plate service for VIPs and complimentary food tasting for two are part of the catering services.

An additional Php 20,000.00 may be added on top of the package rent if the guests wish to add Amira’s Buko Tart desert station, Santiago’s craft beer station, Photo booth service for three hours, use of bridal car for three hours and the use of the venue for pre-nuptial photo shoot.

Aside from enjoying the ‘guilt-free’ abundance on the plate and a refreshing dip at the pool, an ATV ride around the farm can also be done! Kids would surely love the place too as there is a playground and a tree house where they can play around.

The rooms are studio-type and spacious enough to accommodate up to six persons. It has air-conditioning units and television. Tuck the curtains on the sides and you’ll instantly get the most relaxing floor-to-ceiling view of the pool and the greens around. The whole place is just good enough to unwind for a weekend!
