My Tactics Water Gear Bags’ Review
I recently got four bags from Tactics Water Gear that I used on my recent trips. These include the Zulu Duffel bag, ultra dry bag, foxtrot backpack and rover waterproof backpack. If you’re also thinking of getting these but still feeling hesitant about it, here’s an honest review of the Zulu Duffel and Foxtrot Backpack to help you.
1. The Tactics Zulu Duffel
The one that could go in any style of all my Tactics Bag purchase is the Zulu Duffel. I usually use it especially when staying out of the house for the whole day as it could perfectly carry my wallet, powerbank, mirror-less camera, pouch for cables, make up kit, perfume and other essentials. It looks fine with my style like when I’m just on a rugged get-up for an event, when simply running errands outside and when hitting the gym. I usually use it together with the Foxtrot backpack when going out for two days or more since I could pull out important stuff in it without putting the other bag down.
The 15-inch long duffel bag is made of Oxford nylon fabric that is water and tear-resistant. The main compartment is spacious with two small pockets inside. The other is open while the other one comes with zipper. A smart phone fits perfectly in these pockets. It has pockets with good quality zippers outside, too, on each end of the duffel. The pullers have thick strings knotted into it and plastic puller on the other end which facilitates the opening of the zippers. The bag can either be hand carried as it has non-slip hand strap; or can be slung on your shoulders as it also has shoulder straps that are removable and adjustable. The straps are carefully back-stitched on the sides. Zulu Duffel bag has M.O.L.L.E. straps in front where smaller bags or anything with those straps, too, can be attached.

2. Tactics Foxtrot Backpack
The Foxtrot Backpack is made with a polyester water-resistant fabric. Its materials are lightweight but good enough to resist abrasions, dust, water spills and other elements. It has a laptop pocket in the main compartment, a flip cover with a pocket with two other zipped compartment beneath. My laptop that is 12-inch long can fit inside the bag. The flip cover can be fastened with lock buckles to keep it still. The flip pocket has a Velcro where the badge can be placed. The most amazing thing about it has M.O.L.L.E. (pronounced as ‘Molly’) straps or Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment straps. This MOLLE straps actually allow you to attach another bag or pouch with M.O.L.L.E. straps on it through webbing them. See how it works here.
This Tactics backpack also has meshed pockets on each side for bottles and other stuff. Its mesh is flexible and double-sided with two different kinds of mesh fabric making it sturdier. The sides have adjustable straps tightly sewed in a pretty functional angle with a plastic lock buckle. The strap is useful especially when storing long stuff on the side pocket as it can hold it in place. It can hold. I used to put umbrella in here so I could pull it out with ease and right away when needed. The zippers of the pockets and compartments are of good quality. The slider is pretty thick and sturdy with a thick fiber string with a hard plastic puller on its ends.
Its thick adjustable backpack straps are made of fabric meshed beneath with the top made of polyester. The fabric mesh provides comfort on my shoulders when the backpack is worn. the best thing about its straps is that it has D rings and adjustable hip belt. D rings and the lock buckles of the hip belt are both made of hard plastic. You can actually hang anything, like an extra small bag, on the D rings. the hip belt, on the other hand, can be adjusted up and down depending on my preference and can be tightened or loosened.
I love how ergonomically designed every strap, pocket and other feature of the Foxtrot backpack is. That’s one of the reasons why I use the backpack especially on my outdoor adventures. I personally love it because it could store a lot of my stuff and it protects them from dust, spills, drizzles and other elements.
Tactics Foxtrot Backpack has three colors: the army green, black and the Armat gray. You can get your TACTICS Foxtrot Backpack for only Php 1,777.05 online at Lazada.

Travel and Packing Tips from the Queen’s Escape
If there’s one thing that I’ll leave right here with this review of the Tactics Water Gear bags, it would be “Pack right not light.” For me, packing right means putting the necessary travel items and stuff only in my bags that I’ll be taking with me to my trips. Packing right also entails researching about the place I’ll visit and planning about what stuff will I bring exactly on that particular trip (i.e. clothes and footwear, etc.). At least in this case, light or not, I’ve got only the most essential things with me and I’ve chosen the right bags for these.
