Don Salvador Benedicto is a landlocked town on the East side of Negros Occidental. It is a home to arrays of pine trees, cool climate, sweet and fresh fruits, cafes, waterfalls and other natural wonders that will surely make your stay in the town worthwhile.
Few months ago, I visited Don Salvador Benedicto and I was truly in awe and in love with the place’s vibe not to mention the very cheap yet grand AirBnB by Vacation Villas in KM 55 that I discovered. Just a week ago, I was back to the place and I must say, I missed its vibe and the coffee! The cold breeze just and the sight of greens and treetops on a fine morning were seriously the best to cap off my solo trip to the province. I enjoyed the ambiance with my American breakfast at KM 55 Cafe. Upon my visit, I was told that they were up to something new. Just then, their staff showed me their three new Villas that you would also love to experience!
Mountain Villa
The Mountain Villa is located just below Km 55 Cafe. It can accommodate five up to eight persons. One of its walls is made of glass which can give you a view of the terraza and the pine trees outside the room. The terraza, which hasa view of ranges from afar, has two or three tables where you can hold small group gatherings as well. Since it’s a studio type one, you can see everything at the threshold. Upon your entrance is the receiving area with huge couches, a glass center table and driftwood furniture. On your right is a TV set. Behind the receiving area are queen-size beds placed across each other with a short driftwood ladder in the middle. The driftwood ladder leads you to two more beds (more of a bunk ones) on a partly elevated corner of the room.
Mountain Villa Rates:
2,500 on weekdays (Monday to Thursday) 3,000 on weekends (Friday to Sunday) Additional pax at 50php per head
The Forrest Villa
Just a few steps from KM 55 Cafe and Mountain Villa, you’ll find another one amidst tall tress – the Forest Villa. Unlike the Mountain Villa, it is more quiet as it is a little far from the highway and you’ll get a view of nothing but trees. The forest villa has a queen-size bed, a mini sala, refrigerator, hot and cold shower, outdoor dining set, a hammock and kitchen. It doesn’t include toiletries and kitchen utensils; thus, the guests have to bring their own.
Forest Villa Rates
2000 on weekdays (Monday to Thursday) 2500 on weekends (Friday to Sunday) Additional pax at 50php per head
Villa by the pool
Unlike the other two Villas, this will soon be having a pool around it. They are targeting December as its launching date. Though the pool isn’t done yet, people have been booking due to its unique and distinct features. Villa by the Pool features a Japanese style bedroom with a mini grotto and of course with a pool (real soon). It has two bed rooms, the first includes the Japanese style one and a small sala while the other one has nothing but three beds which can accommodate up to six persons. It has shared bathroom located outside the doors of the two adjacent rooms. It is ideally good for 5 pax but can accommodate 3 additional pax at 50 php per head.
Villa by the Pool Rates
3,200 php on weekends (Monday to Thursday) 4,000 php on weekdays (Friday to Sunday)
