Chateau Royale Hotel, Resort and Spa Review

Chateau Royale Batangas is a three-star hotel, resort and spa located along KM 72, Batulao, Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway. It offers relaxing landscape and recreational activities that is a perfect weekender for everyone. In just a two-hour drive from the Metro, you can explore and experience fun-filled activities that will not only make you reconnect with your own self and other people but also you with your mind and body to nature. This 100-hectare wide resort will surely fill you in with nothing but fresh air and awaken your senses in every way possible.

Upon entering the gates, the staff and a variety of flora that colorfully exist in every turn warmly greeted me. It was a weekend so there were lots of guests coming in with me on that day, too. Despite the surge of visitors who were there for different events, the areas and the parking spaces seemed not to be crowded since the whole place itself is quite spacious.

Walking past the grand gates and the foyer, I came into the resort’s main building that is interestingly designed with a fusion of oriental and partly a modern Victorian interior. The entrance faces another door leading to a veranda with a view of the pool and a natural landscape as its background. It was late in the afternoon when I arrived, just in time for sunset and some cool breeze that brushed against my skin when I stood there. Indeed, it was a fine afternoon of aesthetics, warm people and good place – an escape from my recently concluded stressful week.

Information about the hotel and resort, its facilities and activities were posted around so I went through each choosing the activities that would make my weekend stay in there worthwhile.

ACCOMMODATION

Cabin Type

The Cabin type is characterized by its rustic theme with a minimalist kind of interior equipped with wooden furniture. Rooms under this type are equipped with Cable TV, bath towels and linens, toiletries, hot and cold shower, mineral water, coffee, coffee and tea maker or kettle, air-conditioning, some with receiving area. it basically has two types: the cabin deluxe and cabin family. The former can accommodate two to four persons while the other up to six occupants. These rooms are spacious enough to comfortably accommodate the guests.

During my visit to Chateau Royale, I stayed at one of their Cabin Deluxe rooms. I loved the homey and cozy vibe the room gave me. It was not only the room itself but also the veranda which made me feel like I was in some other place like Europe; not to mention the walkway and the other cabins which seemed not be hotel rooms but a neighborhood. The cabin room’s aura made me wanna stay and chill but the thought of the adventures right outside the threshold also made me wanna get up and try them.Well, this resort is perfect for both the staycation fans and adrenaline junkie.

Skylight Type

The Skylight rooms have two types: the premier and two-bedroom suite. It is different from the cabin in such a way that its interior is more modern while the other one has rustic-minimalist style. Skylight types have receiving areas and have more fixtures and furniture compared to that of the cabin type. Also, each room has its own mini fridge.
