Vista Real Hotel: Your Next Staycation Destination in Tagaytay City

People from nearby cities and towns, most especially from Manila, choose Tagaytay City as a weekend escape since its quite accessible from the metro and its climate is indeed remarkable. Next thing that one considers upon choosing the town is the place where they could spend a night or two. Well, It is not just the food crawling and sight seeing activities that one can enjoy in here but also the staycation per se since there are lots of hotels around that will surely make your weekends count.

Spending days on hotels has been a thing for people who would want escape from the hustle and toxicity of work to chill. Recently, the term, staycation, was coined to best describe this kind of getaway and relaxation. Personally, I’m not into this kind of vacation. I’d prefer getting my skin golden under the sun, doing cliff jumps, surfing, swimming and other stuff that would make my blood rush because that’s basically my heart’s desire plus I could seriously sleep anywhere and it’s totally fine with me. Just then, Vista Real Hotel appeared on my feed and I told myself I’m gonna give this one a try. Not really a change of heart, but then, there’s no harm in trying, right?

Vista Real Hotel is situated in Calamba-Tagaytay Road, Brgy. San Jose, Tagaytay City beside the new McDonald’s in the area. Its location is quite strategic because it’s few minutes away from Magallanes (where the night life in Tagaytay lies), Olivarez Plaza, restaurants and the coffee shops that tourists in Tagaytay City usually visit.
This hotel features an old-fashioned classy interior and a surprisingly touch of modern design on the outside. The elegance isn’t much visible from the outside unless you set foot on he threshold. What I love the most about this hotel is their infinity pool at the lower level. The view from that vantage point is highly scenic as you can see the Taal lake and volcano should there be a good clearing.
Well, allow me to take you around Vista Real Hotel and see why I fell in love with the place.

THE RECEPTION AREA
Yes to that foyer!
What amazed me is the old-fashioned minimalistic interior design. I really have a thing for wooden interiors and something old-fashioned. Well, it’s not totally as in old kind of old; but a fusion of it and a minimalistic modern elegance.

AT THE RESTAURANT
At the restaurant, next to the lobby
Exploring the other levels? Not just yet. Their elevator is actually unique in such a way that the one side of it is glass to give you that panoramic view at the other side of hotel.

THE INFINITY POOL

At the third lower level is their infinity pool. This side of the building isn’t that of the old-fashioned style just like its interior but I guarantee you, this will take your staycationing a different taste for it has a view of the taal lake and volcano.
Unfortunately, the fog was a little bad that day that I didn’t get that scenic view of the lake.

THE GAME AREA

Apart from the pool, the hotel has other recreational activities such as billiards, table tennis and darts. Rates start at 100php for an hour. The first hour of your use though is free, should you exceed, that’s when you’ll be charged of the said rate.

Night at the pool isn’t disappointing at all. I mean, even without the view one can get in day time, the lights and the place itself is promising. So, everyone could still enjoy night swimming.

THE ROOMS

There are 5 types of rooms in the hotel which vary from a level to another. They have deluxe, standard, premiere, superior and family. Below are the details and rates of their rooms:

Be informed though that this hotel has just opened last year and is still working on some improvements to better serve the guests. Some complained about the poor signal inside the rooms most especially at the lower level as well as the Wi-Fi. Guests, though, could connect to the Hotel’s Wi-Fi at the lobby. The management, as I have asked, are to materialize their plans to work it out by 2018.
If you want to book, just use the widget on the right side of the website and get up to 15% the regular price that I have posted. The management have proposed plans which will be materialized by 2018 and this include tour packages around Tagaytay City and the towns adjacent to it.
